Visitors to our iris fields have grown up in front of our
eyes, some met here and are now happily married
and moving on with their lives, some became
valued personal friends.

To us, this is a momentous time in our lives!
As incredibly difficult decision to make...but, it is time

Jennifer & Perry Smith
Lone Oak Iris Ranch

Welcome to the Lone Oak Iris Ranch 2016 online experience.

The ranch is located in
the rich San Joaquin river bottom land - in the heart of Central Valley of California - just a short drive from Fresno. We are located close to Yosemite National Park and the California Giant Redwoods, which can make a visit to our Iris Ranch a multi-faceted experience those that aren't local.

Jennifer Smith is the owner and cordial host of the Lone Oak Iris Ranch. Her gorgeous array of colorful irises now grow where her grandfather, Everett Rank Sr., once farmed. Her iris farm and immaculate grounds, has been in the family for seven generations and has been an iris ranch for over twelve years.
If you're looking for an afternoon outing or a specific color iris, Jennifer will welcome you and guide you
in her friendly, hospitable style.

Lone Oak Iris Ranch...
...the beginning.

Jennifer would like her valued iris friends
to know that it all began with her mother,
Jane Giffin, who said to Jennifer,
I have some irises and I would like you
to have them for your new home.
The problem is...you'll never finish.
Irises are like potato chips....
...you can't stop at just one!
